Foreign Policy
How do you feel the US should position itself in terms of foreign policy? Are you in favor of nation building or do you believe we should maintain friendly terms with, but remain independent of, all the nations of the earth? What are the most pressing foreign policy challenges we currently face? Is it Iraq? Afghanistan? Pakistan? Israel & Gaza? Russia? China? North Korea? Let's start a discussion on how to improve our foreign relations... Please indicate what you think our most pressing issue is and what you would like to see happen...

Global Warming - what is your opinion?
This topic seems to generate controversy. Is global warming man made? Many say it is, some say it is not. What are your thoughts? What are your feelings on stewardship towards this planet? Does global warming impact your opinion on stewardship? I would argue that whether or not you believe global warming is man made, it is our responsibility to take care of our planet - to preserve it and keep it green and clean for future generations. Please share your ideas and opinions!

Welcome to Common Ground!
This site was started in an effort to bring people together based on common ground. We all have different opinions on so many issues. Sometimes these opinions are polar opposite and they spark passionate debate. Perhaps through debate and civil discussion, we can find common ground and work towards solving the political, social, and foreign policy issues of our time in a fair and equitable way. Feel free to participate in the discussions, but please keep your remarks civil. Hate never works when you are trying to persuade another to see your side of the story. Reach out with understanding and let's work together to get things done!
